Format date

Description

Format Datetime expression to a specific Date format (ISO-8601, European, USA or custom). IMPORTANT: Datetime expression must be a Unix Timestamp or a string compliant with IS0-8601.

Input/Output

Datetime expression : value (date or number) <= Source
Date format : value <= Option
Custom format : value (text) <= Source or User

Output : value

Usage

  1. Connect a source to the operator
  2. Drag a value from the source tree and drop it into input field Datetime expression
  3. Select Date format
  4. If you selected *Custom" format, type your format with the following notation: YY=short-year, YYYY=full-year, MM=month, DD=day, hh=hours (1-2 digits), mm=minutes, ss=seconds, ttt=milliseconds
  5. Click on OK

Example

Date expression = "2019-11-07T12:29:18Z"
Date format = "European"

Output = "07/11/2019"
